Denim skirts never go out of fashion. They’ve been around ever since I was a little girl. And they’ll still be a high fashion trend in 2018. It’s the same with a denim jacket – you’ll always have good use for one.
They can be mini, maxi, tight, flared or pencil. If you’re young, then a short denim skirt is fantastic. (Even if you’re not so young actually). Have a look at some ideas below. I have included some links to skirts or styles like these if you are interested in them.
Denim skirts are adaptable. You can dress them up or down. Here’s a pic of Bella Hadid where she’s wearing a very casual denim mini skirt but she has dressed it up beautifully. Her shoes are elegant and exquisite, she’s wearing a very simple but very sexy halter top and she’s got the most divine sunglasses and accessories.
A plain denim skirt is probably the most practical as you can then wear it with absolutely anything. A denim skirt is the kind of skirt you can wear from day to night, you may just need to change your shoes to change your look. Look at this skirt that Ali Larter is wearing. It falls just below the knee and she’s wearing it with a simple sweater and elegant shoes. It’s a nice look, combination corporate and sexy.
Here is Rihanna in a denim skirt with a denim shirt, rocking the ‘denim on denim’ trend 2018.
Like a good pair of jeans, you should have a good denim skirt in your closet. They’re sexy, useful, you don’t have to wash denim each time you wear it, they last for ages and don’t go out of style. So, look online, or go trawl the shops, but treat yourself to a new skirt. And maybe, if you’re like me, a new jacket too…
